McDuffy's offers trackside excitement in the comfort of the Valley's most dedicated sportsbar with Off Track Wagering daily. We feature Horse racing during the day and Greyhound racing in the evening. Forms and programs are available for sale in McDuffy's for all racing shown.
Types of Wagering
Many types off wagering are featured. In addition to (minimum $2.00) Win, Place, and Show bets, Quinellas, Exactas, and Daily Doubles, $1.00 Pick Three's, $1.00 Trifectas, Twin Trifectas & $1.00 Superfectas are available during the Horse racing.
In addition to these wagers the Greyhound racing also includes the Big Q (Twin Quinella), the Tri Super, and the Twin Trifecta. Greyhound racing also has $1.00 Quinella, Trifecta, Superfecta, Twin Trifecta, and Tri Super box and wheel betting when three or more Greyhounds are used.
Horse Racing
McDuffy's is part of the network featuring the live racing of Turf Paradise in Phoenix, Arizona, from Labor Day Weekend through Memorial Day Weekend. The meet is filled with Thoroughbred and Quarterhorse racing full of stakes, futuritys, and derbys.
Simulcasts from tracks all over the country are mixed in with the program almost every day. The most popular are from the Gate, and Bay Meadows. Famous thoroughbred race tracks such as Churchill Downs, Hialeah Park, Gulf Stream, and Arlington Park have also been included.
The local racing covered by our Off Track Betting switches to Prescott Downs, in Prescott, Arizona, from Memorial Day Weekend til Labor Day Weekend. Horse racing in Prescott goes back to July 4, 1866, two years after the town was founded as the first capital of the the Arizona Territory. They have continued the competition every year since. The same types of wagering are available and the same blend of in state racing and out of state simulcasts in enjoyed.
Horse Racing - Special Events
Off Track Betting features the biggest horse races of the year, and you can watch AND wager live at McDuffy's. Included annually is The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness, Belmont Stakes, the Breeder's Cup, The Santa Anita Derby, The Swaps Stakes, and many others especially the 3 year old stakes races leading up to the Kentucky Derby.
Greyhound Racing
McDuffy's is part of the network featuring the live racing nightly from Phoenix Greyhound Park in Phoenix, Arizona. Post time is 7:30 p.m. and there are occasional matinee during the year. McDuffy's currently also carries the Gulf Greyhound Park racing from Houston, Texas nightly and Southland Greyhound Park from West Memphis, Arkansas, on Monday nights only.
