A fine example of Craftsman architecture. The Greenway House reflects the elegance of a truly spacious, fully-restored 1906 mansion and offers the privacy of suites and rooms tastefully furnished in beautiful antiques and complete with private baths and kitchenettes.

Bisbee's mile-high location makes it a delightful place to visit all year round. Winters are mild. It is protected from the desert heat in summer. Rarely do the temperatures go over 90 degrees in its high mountain setting. There are spectacular monsoon rains during July and August that move up from the nearby state of Sonora, Mexico, just eight miles away. Spring and fall offer the most temperature weather.

From Tucson take I-10 to east Benson
Take US-80 South through Tombstone to Bisbee
Continue on US-80 past Old Bisbee and
the Lavender Pit.
Go around the Traffic Circle and turn right
on Bisbee Road
Turn left at the Copper Queen Hospital.

A painstakingly restored 30-room mansion formerly occupied by John C. Greenway, Rough Rider with Teddy Roosevelt and Superintendent of the Calumet and Arizona Mining Company, and his wife, Isabella, who later served two terms in Congress.

All suites and rooms have private baths and kitchens and are available for occupancy by the month only. All apartments are completely furnished right down to linens and dishes.
